Why a TEDx dedicated to women:
In Jesolo, there are women leading businesses, social projects, and families. Yet, their stories rarely reach the main stage.
The theme:
“Dominae” is the plural of domina, which in Latin means lady, mistress of the house, or owner—a female figure who holds authority and control, especially within the domestic and family sphere. It is linked to the idea of leadership, an authoritative role, and the head of a field for which one takes responsibility.
Location:
TEDxJesolo Women arrives at Onde della Terra, in the green heart of Jesolo, for an outdoor day dedicated to women’s choices and the power of ideas. In this farm overlooking the sea and the lagoon, amidst rows of naturally grown lavender, aromatic herbs, and saffron, the TEDx stage merges with nature, transforming every talk into an immersive open-air experience.
